Our client are looking to hire a Site Manager to join their Housing Property Services Team. An exciting opportunity to oversee the successful delivery of housing construction, refurbishment and maintenance projects across our council housing portfolio, whilst ensuring health and safety protocol.
The Role:
- Managing day-to-day operation and security of council
- Supervising contractors, subcontractors, and council operatives to ensure safe and efficient work
- Complying with health and safety legislation, building regulations, and council policies
- Support project handovers and ensure all works meet agreed specifications and quality standards
- Monitor programme delivery, quality standards, and project budgets
- Conduct regular site inspections, toolbox talks, and health and safety audits
- Coordinate site logistics, materials, and resources to maintain project progress
- Liaise with residents, stakeholders, contractors, and internal departments to minimise disruption and maintain effective communication
- Identify and resolve site issues, escalating risks where appropriate
- Maintain accurate site records, including daily diaries, inspections, permits, and compliance documentation
- Support project handovers and ensure all works meet agreed specifications and quality standards
