Site Manager - Social Housing Retrofit
As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of social housing retrofit and compliance works across occupied properties throughout the Croydon area.
Working Closely With Operational Teams, Residents, Subcontractors, And Client Stakeholders, You Will Ensure Works Are Delivered Safely, On Programme, Within Budget, And To The Highest Quality Standards, Including
- Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) Works
- EICR Remedial Works
- Kitchen Replacements
- Bathroom Replacements
- Associated Planned Maintenance and Retrofit Works
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of works across multiple occupied social housing properties.
- Ensure all projects are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, direct labour, and supply chain partners.
- Carry out regular site inspections, audits, and quality checks.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, clients, and stakeholders.
- Monitor programme performance and proactively resolve site issues.
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to at all times.

The successful candidate will be capable of hitting the ground running, managing occupied properties, and maintaining high standards of customer service while delivering works safely and efficiently.
Experience working for, or alongside, a Tier 1 contractor would be highly advantageous.
Essential Experience
- Previous Site Management experience within the social housing sector.
- Experience delivering planned maintenance, retrofit, or compliance works.
- Exposure to FRA, EICR, kitchen, and bathroom programmes.
- Experience managing works within occupied residential environments.
- Strong subcontractor and site team management skills.
- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong health and safety awareness.
Qualifications
- SMSTS.
- CSCS Card.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
