An established London construction contractor
with a strong track record across prime residential, luxury refurbishment and commercial projects is looking to strengthen its site team with an experienced Site Manager.
The company
has built an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality projects for private clients, developers, architects and consultants, with a particular focus on quality, attention to detail and client satisfaction.
The Role
The successful candidate will join the team on a prestigious luxury hotel refurbishment in Fitzrovia, working within a highly detailed and quality-driven environment.
As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management and delivery of the hotel refurbishment, working closely with the Project Manager, subcontractors, consultants and client team.
You will be responsible for ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme and to the exceptional quality standards expected within a luxury hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day activities on site from enabling works through to completion.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades and site personnel.
- Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and programme requirements.
- Maintain exceptionally high standards of workmanship and finish.
- Coordinate multiple trades and specialist subcontractors within a complex refurbishment environment.
- Monitor progress and report regularly to the Project Manager.
- Assist with programme planning and ensure works remain on schedule.
- Manage site logistics, deliveries, storage and access within a constrained Central London location.
- Maintain a strong focus on health & safety and ensure site procedures are consistently followed.
- Liaise effectively with the client, consultants, design team and subcontractors.
- Identify and resolve construction issues proactively.
- Ensure snagging, finishing and handover are completed to the required standard.
- Maintain accurate site records and relevant project documentation.

About You
The successful candidate will have a strong background in high-end residential, luxury hotel, heritage or complex refurbishment projects.
We are particularly interested in Site Managers who have experience working within listed or heritage buildings, where protecting existing features and maintaining a high standard of craftsmanship are essential.

Essential Experience
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within high-end construction.
- Experience delivering luxury residential, hotel or high-specification refurbishment projects.
- Strong subcontractor and trade management experience.
- Excellent understanding of construction sequencing, quality control and site logistics.
- Experience working in Central London or similarly complex urban environments.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with project teams while taking ownership of site delivery.
- SMSTS.
- CSCS.
- First Aid.
Desirable
- Experience working on Grade II / Grade II listed buildings*.
- Previous hotel or hospitality refurbishment experience.
- Experience working on projects involving significant structural alterations, restoration or heritage features.
- Experience delivering high-end finishes and bespoke interiors.
