A highly regarded engineering and construction business is continuing to strengthen its presence on the Anglian Water investment programme and is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager in the Norwich area. With a busy schedule of clean water and wastewater projects planned across the region, they require additional site leadership to support project delivery.
This organisation has a strong reputation within the utility sector and offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of infrastructure schemes as part of a long-term framework programme.
Your new role
Working as a Site Manager, you will take ownership of site-based activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with programme requirements. You will be responsible for managing operational teams and coordinating all aspects of construction delivery from mobilisation through to completion.

Duties will include:
- Overseeing daily construction activities across water and wastewater sites
- Supervising subcontractors, operatives and supply chain partners
- Monitoring progress against programme targets and project milestones
- Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with site procedures
- Managing environmental and quality requirements throughout project delivery
- Planning site logistics and coordinating resources effectively
- Reviewing and implementing work packs, RAMS and permit systems
- Liaising with project teams, client representatives and key stakeholders
- Maintaining accurate site records, reports and construction documentation
- Supporting the successful handover and close-out of completed works
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience delivering utilities, water or infrastructure projects in a Site Management capacity
- SMSTS qualification
- Valid CSCS card
- Experience managing both direct labour and specialist subcontractors
- Sound understanding of health, safety and environmental standards
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with site teams and stakeholders
- Full UK driving licence
