An established infrastructure contractor with a strong presence in the UK water sector is looking to recruit a Site Manager to support the delivery of projects across the Anglian Water region. With continued investment in water and wastewater networks, they have secured a healthy programme of works and require experienced site leadership to help deliver schemes in and around Lincoln.
This opportunity offers the chance to join a respected delivery team working on essential infrastructure improvements across one of the UK's largest regulated utility frameworks.
Your new role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will take responsibility for overseeing construction activities on site, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards. You will play a key role in coordinating site teams and driving successful project delivery throughout the construction life cycle.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Taking overall responsibility for site-based construction activities
- Managing workforce deployment, subcontractors and specialist suppliers
- Ensuring programmes are achieved and project objectives are met
- Promoting best practice in health, safety, environmental and quality performance
- Coordinating daily site briefings and operational activities
- Implementing and monitoring safe systems of work
- Reviewing work methods, permits and construction documentation
- Working closely with engineering, commercial and project delivery teams
- Producing site reports and maintaining project records
- Supporting client relationships and ensuring contractual requirements are met
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience managing construction activities within the water sector
- SMSTS qualification
- Valid CSCS card
- Proven ability to lead subcontractors and site-based teams
- Strong understanding of health, safety and environmental requirements
- Good planning, organisational and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
