About the Role
Oceana Construction is looking for two experienced and highly organised Site Managers to join our growing team — with one position based in Surrey and one in Ealing.
The successful candidates will take responsibility for overseeing construction and infrastructure projects from inception through to completion, ensuring that works are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and to the highest standards of quality.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong site management experience, excellent organisational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple contractors, suppliers, clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered in accordance with project plans, specifications and safety requirements.
- Lead and coordinate contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to maintain an efficient workflow.
- Develop, manage and monitor detailed project programmes using Primavera P6, identifying potential delays and taking appropriate action.
- Utilise Civil 3D for site design review, planning and problem-solving relating to civil engineering works.
- Monitor project progress against programme, budget and key milestones.
- Manage procurement and ensure materials, plant and equipment are available when required.
- Carry out regular site inspections to maintain high standards of health, safety, quality and environmental compliance.
- Maintain accurate site records, progress reports, documentation and incident reports.
- Lead regular site and project meetings, providing clear updates to clients, contractors and other stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve issues promptly, taking a proactive approach to project delivery.
- Ensure resources are utilised efficiently through effective planning and time management.
- Maintain a strong focus on quality, safety and successful project completion.

What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction or civil engineering.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, site operations and project delivery.
- Proven experience using Primavera P6 for project planning and programming.
- Strong working knowledge of Civil 3D and its application to civil engineering/site design.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate site teams and multiple contractors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of delivery.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and resolving issues on site.
- The ability to adapt to changing project requirements while remaining focused on programme, quality and safety.
- A strong commitment to health, safety and quality standards.
