Our client is a highly regarded residential developer, delivering high-quality homes and premium developments across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join their Construction team.
This is an excellent opportunity to take a key role in the delivery of a high-quality residential development in the Bristol area, with a particular focus on the finishing, quality and successful handover of the scheme.
The development is a premium, design-led residential project comprising apartments and houses, with a strong emphasis on specification, workmanship and attention to detail.
The Role
Reporting into the senior Construction team, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management and delivery of the development, with particular emphasis on the finishing stages and ensuring the project is completed to an exceptional standard.
Working collaboratively with subcontractors, consultants and the wider project team, you will ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with the programme, specification and required quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors and site teams throughout the finishing stages of the development.
- Take responsibility for programme delivery, ensuring works are completed within agreed timescales.
- Maintain consistently high standards of workmanship, quality and presentation across the development.
- Coordinate and manage snagging, defects and remedial works through to completion.
- Effectively sequence and coordinate multiple trades working across the development.
- Monitor progress against programme and proactively address delays or issues.
- Carry out regular quality inspections and ensure works are delivered in accordance with the required specification.
- Ensure all site activities are undertaken in accordance with health and safety requirements.
- Work closely with the wider Construction, Technical and Commercial teams to support the successful delivery of the project.
- Manage inspections, completion activities and the final handover of properties.
- Maintain accurate site records and provide regular progress updates to senior management.
- Ensure the site is maintained to a high standard throughout the finishing and handover process.

About You
We're looking for an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in residential construction and a particular understanding of finishing, quality and handover.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager within residential construction.
- Strong experience managing the finishing stages of residential developments.
- Experience delivering apartments, houses or other multi-unit residential schemes.
- Excellent knowledge of construction processes, finishing standards and quality control.
- Strong experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades.
- Good understanding of snagging, defects, inspections and handover processes.
- Experience working to demanding programmes and maintaining high standards of delivery.
- Strong health and safety awareness.
- Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
- A proactive approach with strong attention to detail and a genuine focus on quality.
