Site Manager
Location: London NW1
Salary: Up to £65,000 + Bonus + Private Healthcare + Pension + 25 Days Holiday
Blayze Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager on behalf of a highly regarded developer, to join the delivery team on a major mixed-use development in Camden.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to take primary responsibility for the internal fit-out and completion of a major residential and student accommodation scheme, while also monitoring the progress and quality of the external and façade works.
The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the fit-out and finishing of multiple residential and student accommodation units, managing the works from 1st fix through to final completion, snagging and handover.
You will also oversee and monitor the external and façade works, ensuring they remain aligned with the overall programme, quality requirements and project specification.
The role will include the management and development of two Assistant Site Managers, providing clear direction, setting priorities and ensuring the wider site team delivers against programme and quality targets.

The Project
- c180 purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) beds, including affordable accommodation
- c30 affordable residential homes
Key Responsibilities
- Take primary responsibility for the internal fit-out and finishing of residential and student accommodation units
- Manage works from 1st fix through to 2nd fix, completion, snagging and handover
- Manage and coordinate two Assistant Site Managers
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and multiple trades
- Manage MEP, drylining, ceilings, carpentry, kitchens, bathrooms, flooring and decoration packages
- Monitor progress and quality of external and façade works
- Ensure internal and external works remain aligned with the overall construction programme
- Monitor subcontractor performance, productivity and workmanship
- Carry out regular quality inspections and ensure required standards are maintained
- Manage snagging, de-snagging and defects through to completion
- Work closely with the Project Manager, Design Team and wider construction team
- Identify and resolve construction issues to maintain programme
- Maintain accurate site records and provide regular progress updates
- Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with the specification, programme and health & safety requirements
- Attend site meetings and contribute to project planning and delivery

About You
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within residential construction, fit-out or mixed-use development
- Strong experience managing internal fit-out and finishing of residential units
- Good understanding of 1st fix, 2nd fix, finishing, snagging and handover
- Experience managing multiple trades and subcontractors
- Previous experience managing or mentoring Assistant Site Managers
- Basic understanding of external and façade works
- Strong organisational, communication and leadership skills
- High level of attention to detail with a strong focus on quality
- SMSTS and CSCS

- Up to £65,000 basic salary
