The Role

Based in Newcastle, you will lead the on-site delivery of remediation, façade, building and Defence projects across the Hunter and broader NSW region. Taking ownership of day-to-day site operations, you will coordinate people, subcontractors and resources to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day site operations from mobilisation through to project completion
  • Coordinate site personnel, subcontractors, plant and materials to meet project objectives
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, schedules and resource requirements
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and project teams
  • Lead site safety, quality and environmental compliance activities
  • Identify and resolve site issues to achieve successful project outcomes

About You

  • Trade qualification or tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline, with experience in site management within the construction industry
  • Experience delivering remediation, building, infrastructure, façade and/or Defence projects
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate teams, subcontractors and site activities
  • Sound commercial understanding of project delivery, budgeting and cost control
  • Excellent planning, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management systems
