Southampton | £20m+ Waterfront Residential Project | Long-Term Opportunities
The Company
Our client is an established specialist contractor operating as both a Principal Contractor and Specialist Subcontractor, delivering complex refurbishment, remediation, and façade projects from design through to completion.
They are currently delivering a £20m+ major refurbishment and remediation scheme at a landmark waterfront residential development in Southampton. The project includes extensive façade and recladding works alongside significant internal refurbishment works.
They are looking to appoint two Site Managers:
- 1x Internals Site Manager
- 1x Externals Site Manager

The Roles
Both Site Managers will work as part of the wider project team, taking responsibility for their respective areas of the scheme. Responsibilities will include:
- Managing day-to-day site operations
- Coordinating subcontractors and trades
- Monitoring progress against programme
- Managing short-term programmes and look-aheads
- Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with drawings and specifications
- Monitoring quality and workmanship
- Carrying out inspections and snagging
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements
- Liaising with the Project Manager, design team, and subcontractors
- Driving works through to completion and handover

Requirements
Candidates from main contracting, subcontracting, or developer backgrounds will be considered. SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid would be expected.
