As Site Operations Manager, you'll oversee safe, compliant, and commercially disciplined delivery across a renewable energy plant, playing a central part in keeping operations reliable, governance sound, and decisions genuinely well-informed.
What You Will Do
- Lead the operational and technical delivery of the Management Services Agreement (MSA) for the Sleaford Renewable Energy Plant, ensuring value for the Owner.
- Drive a proactive safety and risk management culture, ensuring Health, Safety, Environmental and statutory compliance across daily operations.
- Manage and challenge the O and M contractor performance, holding delivery to contractual standards for availability, reliability, maintenance, and performance guarantees.
- Provide robust technical oversight of plant performance, addressing defects, outages, maintenance strategy, and lifecycle risks through root-cause thinking and timely escalation.
- Oversee operational governance and reporting, including KPIs, evidence-based recommendations, document control, billing support, and site administration.
- Manage site operational support and transport execution within the operational model, ensuring safe, efficient and cost-effective delivery aligned with operational and fuel plans.

What You Will Bring
- Significant senior-level experience in large-scale power generation, steam-raising, or comparable complex process plant environments, with strong engineering judgement.
- Demonstrable experience managing third-party O and M or engineering contractors to contractual performance and shared objectives.
- In-depth knowledge of UK health, safety, environmental and regulatory compliance, ideally within an energy or industrial setting.
- Strong commercial and contract management capability, with proven experience in budgeting, cost control, and commercial administration.
- Relevant technical or engineering qualification (or equivalent experience), plus NEBOSH or equivalent health and safety competence.

Location
The Site Operations Manager role is based on-site at Sleaford Renewable Energy Plant, with opportunities for hybrid working, covering Monday to Friday hours.
