Salary: NJC Cambridgeshire Scale SO1 Point 23 £34,434 FTE- point 25 £36,363 FTE
Contract Type: Full time 37 hours per week, 52 weeks - Core hours are 8am until 4pm Monday to Thursday, and 8am until 3.30pm on Friday but flexibility is required.
Expected Start Date: ASAP (subject to completion of relevant checks)

Role Overview:
Anglian Learning is pleased to share with you an exciting opportunity for a Site Operations Manager to join Bassingbourn Village College.
As our Site Operations Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the school provides a safe, secure, welcoming and well-maintained environment for students, staff and visitors. You will lead the day-to-day management of the school site, overseeing premises maintenance, health and safety compliance, security, cleaning and contractor management. Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will ensure the school's facilities operate efficiently and support the delivery of outstanding education. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, organised and solutions-focused professional who takes pride in maintaining high standards and fostering a positive learning environment.

The successful candidate will:
- Lead the day-to-day management of the school site, ensuring a safe, secure, clean and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety legislation, statutory inspections and premises-related regulations.
- Manage planned and reactive maintenance, site improvement projects and external contractors to maintain high standards across the school estate.
- Line manage the premises and cleaning teams, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to support the effective operation of the school, delivering efficient, responsive and high-quality site services.
