Field Operations Officer

An opportunity has arisen for a Field Operations Officer to join a renewable energy developer delivering clean, sustainable energy while supporting local communities and reducing carbon emissions.

As a Field Operations Officer, you will be responsible for day-to-day site operations, ensuring safety, effective maintenance, reliable performance and accurate operational records. This role offers salary range of A GBP 25,000 : A GBP 35,000 for 37.5 hours work week and benefits.

This role requires regular travel between the Alloa office and sites across the UK, with occasional overnight stays away from home. Working hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm

You Will Be Responsible For

  • Coordinating site access and delivering toolbox talks where required.
  • Maintaining high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.
  • Carrying out routine site inspections and recording site conditions.
  • Monitoring site status and highlighting operational issues requiring attention.
  • Supervising works carried out on site and reporting on completed and planned activities.
  • Conducting basic checks on third-party contractors to ensure work is completed safely and to the required standards.
  • Maintaining accurate site records, logs and operational documentation.
  • Completing minor maintenance and general site upkeep, including cleaning intakes, replacing filters and lighting, managing weeds and similar tasks.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience within facilities management or industrial maintenance.
  • Background in using light-duty power tools and hand tools for minor maintenance.
  • HND or equivalent qualification.
  • Understanding health, safety and environmental compliance.
  • Skills with Windows-based IT systems and office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong time management and record-keeping skills.
  • Valid UK driving licence.
