Site Operations - Team Leader

Description
We’re looking for a proactive and safety-conscious Team Leader to oversee the safe and efficient operation of our processing site. Working on a 24/7 shift pattern, you’ll lead a team of operatives, ensuring daily targets are met while maintaining high standards in health, safety, and environmental compliance.
Working Pattern: 4on 4off Days/Nights
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate your team to achieve daily KPIs
- Ensure safe operation of plant and equipment across the site
- Communicate clearly and effectively with operatives to ensure task understanding
- Enforce health and safety procedures, report incidents, and take corrective action
- Manage contractors on site and issue permits to work (training provided)
- Oversee environmental and quality procedures
- Support traffic management and site coordination

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Essential:
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Self-motivated with a proactive, can-do attitude
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Flexible and adaptable approach
Desirable:
- Previous experience in the waste management industry
