We are recruiting for Site Operatives here at Panton McLeod to work across clear water and wastewater sites.
£33,667 - £38,014 DOE, per annum + Overtime available (double time on Saturdays and Sundays) Travel and overnight stays will be part of the role Must have a full driving licence and access to a car
We specialise in sustainable water asset management solutions, delivering exceptional value outcomes across potable water, wastewater and the environment.
What you’ll be doing
Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for safely delivering works across our Cleaning & Disinfection, Advanced Technologies and Repairs activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and mobilisation of sites, including vehicles, equipment, materials and PPE.
- Carry out assigned works safely and in line with RAMS, permits and site instructions.
- Use tools, plant, chemicals and specialist equipment only where trained and authorised.
- Complete vehicle, equipment and pre-use checks and report any defects.
- Protect drinking-water hygiene, the environment, assets and client property at all times.
- Capture photographs, measurements, observations and other evidence as required.
- Complete check sheets, timesheets, equipment logs and digital records accurately.
- Report defects, unusual conditions, access limitations and any additional works to the Site Supervisor.
- Store, clean, decontaminate and maintain equipment correctly.
- Follow COSHH, waste management and environmental requirements.
- Maintain a safe, clean and tidy working environment, including wearing the required PPE at all times.
- Follow the Company Safety Handbook, RAMS and all other health and safety instructions.

Who We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working in a site-based, construction, utilities, engineering, maintenance or operational role is desirable.
- Comfortable working outdoors, at heights and in confined spaces.
- Willing to travel and stay away from home when required.
- Ability to lift, carry and move equipment.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions.
- Committed to working safely and within your level of competence.
- Ideally hold a CSCS card or relevant industry tickets.
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
