Join SIS UK Limited, a global leader in sports surfaces construction and installation as a Site Operative, with a key focus on the installation of grass surfaces. This position will require extensive travel throughout the UK and an enhanced DBS check will be completed.

The Role
As a Site Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the installation of our sports pitch construction projects. You’ll work closely with your Site Operative team, Site Supervisors, and Contract Managers to preparation, construction, installation, and delivery of the highest quality artificial surface sports pitches and sports surfaces. The work will involve varied locations regionally throughout the UK, working on football and rugby pitches, cricket pitches, tennis courts, and multi-user games areas. Full training will be given.

Key Responsibilities
- Installing various sports pitches, including laying of sand, rubber, and other playing surface materials and assist with the measuring, marking out, laying, and stitching of artificial turf; and any related soft landscaping.
- Using handheld tools and various plant machinery, including but not limited to Telescopic Handler, Excavator, and Dumper in a safe manner.
- Assist in clearing and cleaning the site, ensuring the pitch is safe and tidy at all times.
What We’re Looking For
- A willingness to learn and adapt as and when required, working well within a team.
- Happy to work outdoors and be willing to support the business during peak summer months.
- Able to work away from home during the week and some weekends.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to health and safety.
- Good communication skills, a friendly outlook, and an ability to find solutions rather than see problems are key to this role.
- A full driving license is necessary.
