Site Project Manager (High Voltage Electrical Projects)
Location: United Kingdom (Site-Based)
Role Summary
We are partnering with a leading UK high-voltage engineering company and Independent Connections Provider (ICP) seeking an experienced Site Project Manager to oversee the safe and successful delivery of HV substation, cable, and grid connection projects. This role is ideal for someone with a strong track record in Transmission & Distribution (T&D) project delivery and contractor management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on-site delivery of HV substation and electrical Balance of Plant (BOP) works.
- Drive a strong site safety culture, ensuring compliance with CDM regulations, RAMS, and permit systems.
- Manage programme performance, site logistics, and contractor activities against project schedules.
- Act as the primary site liaison with clients, DNOs, National Grid, and key stakeholders.
- Conduct quality inspections and audits to ensure works meet engineering specifications and standards.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience delivering High Voltage projects within the 11kV to 132kV/400kV range.
- SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, and First Aid at Work certification.
- Degree or HNC in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.
- Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel to project sites.
- Strong leadership, contractor management, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- NEBOSH or IOSH certification.
- SAP or AP HV authorisation.
- Experience working with DNO, National Grid, or major utility projects.
