Role Description

The Site Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Pudsey, responsible for overseeing construction projects from planning through handover. Day-to-day tasks include:

  • Coordinating site activities
  • Managing subcontractors and suppliers
  • Monitoring progress against schedules
  • Ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to specification

  • Managing resources and logistics
  • Conducting site inspections
  • Addressing issues as they arise
  • Maintaining clear communication with clients, the internal project team, and stakeholders

The Site Project Manager will also:

  • Track project documentation
  • Support cost control
  • Promote compliance with company policies and industry regulations

Qualifications

  • Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating site activities.
  • Expeditor and Expediting experience to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Inspection capabilities to verify work quality, safety standards, and adherence to specifications.
  • Logistics Management skills for organizing labor, materials, and equipment efficiently.
  • Previous experience in construction site management or a similar supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and quality control.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
  • Good organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Proficiency in basic project documentation and use of relevant software or digital tools.
  • Relevant vocational qualifications or certifications in construction management or a related field are beneficial.
