Site Manager / Project Manager – Data Centre

Salary: £60,000–£70,000 per annum

Location: Castlewellan

Travel: Some European travel

Sector: Data Centres / Critical Infrastructure

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager / Project Manager to lead the delivery of major data centre projects. This is a key project delivery role with responsibility for site management, programme, resources, client relationships, commercial performance, quality, health & safety, and project handover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical project delivery from mobilisation through to completion.
  • Manage site teams, subcontractors, labour, materials, and resources.
  • Develop and monitor programmes, milestones, and project progress.
  • Coordinate electrical works with mechanical, BMS, controls, and other trades.
  • Manage client, contractor, consultant, and supplier relationships.
  • Monitor costs, variations, procurement, and project budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, RAMS, permits, and LOTO procedures.
  • Oversee QA/QC, testing, commissioning, energisation, and IST.
  • Manage snagging, documentation, and final handover.
  • Maintain a strong safety and quality culture across the project.

About You

You will ideally have:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Site Manager, Site Manager, or Project Manager.
  • Strong electrical installation and construction experience.
  • Experience delivering complex projects, ideally in data centres, critical infrastructure, or industrial environments.
  • Experience managing teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of programmes, costs, variations, and commercial management.
  • Strong knowledge of H&S, RAMS, QA/QC, and commissioning.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant electrical qualifications or demonstrable industry experience.

SMSTS, ECS/CSCS, First Aid, IOSH/NEBOSH, and data centre experience are advantageous.
