We are seeking an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems to lead and oversee all site-based installation, commissioning, and engineering works for a large high-profile development in London.

You will act as the key operational lead on-site, managing specialist sub-contractors, enforcing strict health and safety standards, and ensuring all M&E services are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • M&E Site Oversight: Drive the daily management and progress of all mechanical, electrical, and public health (MEP) installations on-site.
  • Subcontractor Management: Lead and coordinate M&E sub-contractors, ensuring works align with approved design drawings, specifications, and project milestones.
  • Health, Safety & Environment: Enforce strict health and safety compliance (HSE) across the site, conducting daily briefings, toolbox talks, risk assessments (RAMS), and site inductions.
  • Quality Assurance: Carry out regular site inspections and quality audits to ensure installations comply with current UK building regulations and engineering standards.
  • Commissioning & Handover: Manage the testing, balancing, and commissioning phases, ensuring seamless operational handover and standard documentation (O&M manuals).
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate closely with Project Managers, M&E Design Consultants, Main Contractors, and client representatives to resolve technical queries (RFIs) promptly.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
