About The Role

Based in Plymouth, this contract role for a Site & QA Manager involves overseeing an external refurbishment programme starting in the Autumn. Working for a specialist contractor who has a proven track record in similar schemes, you'll be supporting the Senior Site Manager on the project, (Facade installation & cladding remediation works) and will play a huge part in ensuring that the project is delivered safely and within the prescribed budget and time allocations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sub-contractor engagement and coordination
  • Health & Safety inductions, checks, and site surveys, reviewing the RAMS, compiling H & S packs
  • Inspections - reviewing alarms, temporary structures, and other aspects of the project under change
  • Administration - ensuring site logs and diaries are updated, and that works are accurately documented with the correct QA admin completed

Requirements

You should have a demonstrable work history reflecting previous experience of external works (EWI, Glazing, Cladding, Rainscreen) and building remediation works, be used to working within a principal contractor capacity, and have a sound and thorough understanding of building control and (ideally) structural warranty standards.

You should have good knowledge of MS applications with knowledge of MS Project an advantage. As this is a site-based role, you should also have SMSTS, CSCS, First aid at work with Scaffold awareness/PASMA being desirable.
