We are looking for an experienced Site Quality Operations Manager to lead our Quality function at our Bradford site. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining customer confidence, and driving a culture of quality excellence across the business.

As Site Quality Operations Manager, you will provide leadership and direction for all Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Regulatory activities across the site. You will be responsible for ensuring robust quality systems are maintained, customer requirements are met, and GMP compliance is embedded throughout the operation.

Working as part of the Site Leadership Team, you will help shape the quality strategy and support the continued growth and success of the Bradford site.

Your Role

  • Lead, develop, and support the site Quality team, ensuring the effective delivery of Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities.
  • Hold responsibility for product quality release decisions and approval activities in line with customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, customer requirements, and internal Quality Management Systems.
  • Oversee customer complaint management, investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement through the analysis of quality data, trends, and performance metrics.
  • Lead site change control, deviation management, and CAPA processes.
  • Support internal, customer, and certification audits, ensuring ongoing compliance and audit readiness.
  • Work closely with customers, suppliers, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders to maintain the highest quality standards.
  • Support new product introductions, validation activities, and business improvement projects.
  • Contribute to the wider success of the site as a member of the Site Leadership Team.

Your Profile

  • Significant experience in a Quality Management role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Experience working within highly regulated industries, ideally pharmaceutical, healthcare, print, or packaging manufacturing.
  • A customer-focused approach with excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capability.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.

Essential Qualifications And Experience

  • Degree qualified in Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Minimum of three years' experience within a Quality Management function.
  • Demonstrable track record of delivering quality improvements and business results.

  • Experience within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, print, or packaging sectors.
  • Internal Auditor qualification.
  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification.
  • BRCGS Packaging Lead Auditor certification.
  • Lean or Six Sigma qualification.
