Role: Senior Site Reliability Consultant (AWS Resilience & Recovery)
Contract: End of December 2026
Location: Remote (UK Based)
Start Date: ASAP
We are partnering with a leading organisation seeking a Senior Site Reliability Consultant to drive AWS operational resilience, disaster recovery, backup, and recovery strategies across complex enterprise environments.
This role will focus on designing and implementing AWS-native resilience solutions, improving service reliability through Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices, and ensuring compliance with operational resilience and regulatory requirements. You will act as a trusted advisor to business and technology stakeholders, delivering robust, secure, and recoverable cloud platforms.

- AWS Resilience Hub & Cross-Region Recovery Architecture
- Site Reliability Engineering (SLI, SLO, SLA)
- Terraform & Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Recovery Runbooks, Playbooks & Disaster Recovery Testing
- Cyber Resilience, Immutable Backups & Ransomware Recovery
- AWS Services including EC2, S3, RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, Route 53 and CloudWatch
- Regulatory frameworks including DORA, NIS2, GDPR and FCA/PRA Operational Resilience
- Executive stakeholder management and consultancy leadership

Ideal Experience:
- Proven delivery of enterprise-scale AWS resilience and recovery programmes
- Strong expertise in RTO/RPO-driven architecture design
- Experience within Financial Services, Insurance, Public Sector, Healthcare, or other highly regulated industries
- AWS Solutions Architect Professional and Terraform certifications highly desirable
