Introduction
Wipro is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join our engineering team. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will help ensure the availability, performance, and security of business-critical platforms and services. You will work closely with software engineering, infrastructure, and operations teams to build scalable solutions, improve resilience, and deliver a seamless experience for internal users.

Your Responsibilities
As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will:
- Champion service reliability, availability, and performance against agreed service level objectives (SLOs)
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code principles
- Establish observability through monitoring, telemetry, dashboards, and actionable alerting
- Lead incident response activities, communicate service status, and drive post-incident improvements
- Eliminate operational toil through automation and continuous service optimisation
Mandatory Skills
You will have a strong understanding of:
- Python, Go, and shell scripting for automation and operational engineering
- Linux and macOS administration and troubleshooting
- Networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, and load balancing
- Kubernetes, Docker, and containerised platform operations
- Infrastructure as Code and observability platforms such as Terraform, Ansible, Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry

Desirable Skills
Ideally, you will be familiar with:
- CI/CD pipelines and release management strategies
- Web application and API service operations
- Database administration, backup, recovery, and performance optimisation
- Enterprise identity and access management technologies including SSO, OAuth, SAML, and RBAC
- AI/ML platforms and GPU-enabled workloads
