Lead Site Reliability Engineer - Tech for Good - Remote
Oliver Bernard are currently working with a Tech for Good client of ours, whose platform supports a large-volume end-user environment across the UK. They're looking for an experienced Site Reliability Technical Lead who can combine deep technical expertise with leadership, driving platform reliability, automation, and architectural excellence while mentoring engineering teams.

- Recent / current experience operating at Lead level
- Cloud experience with AWS
- Containerisation with Docker and Kubernetes
- IaC with Terraform (building modules)
- CI/CD work with GitHub Actions and / or GitLab
- Strong history of Monitoring and Observability (primarily with Datadog)
- Solid understanding of incident management and response
- Experience operating within high-scale production environments
- Comfortable leading on projects end-to-end, breaking down deliverables, and driving SRE roadmaps

The business is heavily investing in an AI-first engineering approach, so they’re looking for engineers who actively embrace AI tooling within their workflows (e.g. utilising Claude, Cursor or other AI assistants).
This is a remote opening (must be UK based) for Lead SRE profiles, and can offer £80-100K on the base salary, plus benefits.
