About the Role

We’re partnered with a leading global quantitative trading firm where technology is at the heart of the business. Their engineers build and operate highly sophisticated, low-latency infrastructure supporting trading and research at global scale.

As an SRE Generalist, you’ll:

  • Own critical infrastructure that keeps trading systems fast, reliable and available.
  • Work across Linux, networking, Kubernetes and distributed systems in a demanding production environment.
  • Build automation and production tooling in Python and/or Go.
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and production issues, driving problems through to resolution.
  • Work closely with traders, researchers and software engineers, translating technical challenges into robust solutions.
  • Continuously improve reliability, performance and operational efficiency across the trading environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong ability to write production-ready Python and/or Go.
  • Hands-on experience running Kubernetes on-premises.
  • Excellent Linux and systems fundamentals.
  • Strong understanding of networking and distributed systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with trading and research teams.
  • A pragmatic, hands-on approach to solving complex technical problems.
