There are a raft of new innovations in the works, and the chance to be part of a rapidly expanding team, work with our data science and industry experts, ensure that your ideas get supported, and then get the satisfaction of seeing them in products used in Tier 1 businesses.
The Role
We’re looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join our growing Platform & Reliability team. You’ll help operate and improve our production platforms while contributing to the evolution of our next-generation AWS platform.
Our existing services run across Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure, while new platforms are increasingly being built using AWS managed services, serverless technologies and Terraform. You’ll work closely with software engineers to build reliable, observable, and automated platforms that enable teams to deliver software safely and efficiently. This role is ideal for someone with solid cloud fundamentals who wants to continue developing their expertise across AWS, automation and platform engineering.

- Help improve system reliability, availability, and performance.
- Reduce operational effort through automation.
- Contribute to operational documentation and runbooks.
- Participate in operational support and, with experience, the team’s on-call rota.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
