Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable systems.
  • Monitor application and infrastructure availability, performance, and reliability.
  • Develop automation to reduce manual operational tasks.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployments.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized applications.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
  • Configure monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions.
  • Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
  • Participate in incident response and problem management.
  • Improve system performance, scalability, and resilience.
  • Establish and monitor SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs.
  • Develop disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
  • Collaborate with software developers, DevOps engineers, security teams, and infrastructure teams.
  • Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Required Skills

  • Experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong scripting/programming skills in Python, Bash, Go, or similar.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, or Infrastructure as Code.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK.
  • Good understanding of networking, security, and distributed systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
