At Tayto Group Ltd, we're passionate about delivering quality products efficiently and safely. We are looking for an organised and proactive Site Scheduler to join our Scunthorpe team and play a key role in ensuring smooth production and warehouse operations.
The Role
As Site Scheduler, you will support the Warehouse Manager and Planning team by coordinating production schedules, managing material availability, and ensuring operational plans remain accurate and up to date. This is a fast-paced role that requires excellent organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to respond quickly to changing business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update production schedules at least twice daily to reflect current production activity.
- Schedule production plans based on customer orders and planning requirements.
- Create and release production orders and associated picks.
- Ensure all deliveries are booked and communicated to the warehouse team.
- Monitor material availability and identify any shortages.
- Communicate supply issues and adjust schedules accordingly.
- Record, monitor, and order oil requirements to support production needs.
- Maintain daily operational spreadsheets and KPI reporting.
- Coordinate pallet and material ordering with suppliers.
- Provide daily trailer and shunt forecasts, along with weekly forecast information.
- Manage routine administrative tasks, including emails and enquiries.
- Support additional ordering requirements as required by the business.
- Undertake weekend work when necessary to finalise orders and complete weekly planning activities.

About You
We're looking for someone who can bring:
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment.
- Strong IT skills, particularly within Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with Business Central or Opcenter would be advantageous, although not essential.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing operational demands.
