Site / Section Engineer
Location: Site Based (with nationwide travel)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent, Directly employed
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Site / Section Engineer to join our growing team and support the successful delivery of pipeline and infrastructure projects across the UK. Based from site, you will work on a variety of projects nationwide, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to develop their career within a well-established and respected contractor.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting out, surveying and overseeing site operations.
- Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with project specifications and drawings.
- Managing quality assurance processes and maintaining accurate site records.
- Coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
- Supporting the planning and execution of construction activities.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
- Assisting with risk assessments, method statements, and permit requirements.
- Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and project management teams.

Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a Site Engineer or Section Engineer role.
- Previous experience within the gas pipeline industry, utilities, civil engineering, or infrastructure sectors is preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction methods and engineering principles.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficient in the use of relevant computer & software management systems
- Experience of maintaining site records and quality documentation.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Proactive approach with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Willingness to travel and work on projects nationwide.
