About The Job

Games Workshop is recruiting for a Site Security Operative based at our new Distribution site in Derbyshire, close to Junction 24a of the M1. In this position, you’ll help to keep Games Workshop’s distribution network running smoothly by keeping our site safe and secure. Working with a collaborative team, you’ll help to deliver an outstanding security service to all our staff. You’ll monitor all freight, visitors, and contractors to ensure the safety of Games Workshop.

In this key role you’ll be responsible for processing all the security needs of the site and ensuring that the site is safe and always protected. Your ability to remain focused and deliver a consistent approach in the face of challenges will ensure we provide a dedicated security provision to the business.

To excel as a Security Guard, you will display outstanding communication skills and excellent attention to detail. Taking the initiative, you’ll be proactive, confident, and resilient, understanding the value of applying outstanding customer service. You’ll also have computer administrative skills.

Other Essential Information

This role operates on a 12-hour day, with a 4 day on and 4 days off shift pattern across days and nights. Hours are 6.00am – 6.00pm days and 6.00pm -6.00am nights.

In this role you may be asked to cover periods of holiday at our East Midlands Gateway site near East Midlands Airport and our Head Office based in Nottingham so flexibility to travel to these sites would be advantageous.

Ideally, you’ll be an SIA badge holder – Door supervisor.
