Our client, an established independent security systems integrator, is looking for a Site Service Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis in Central London.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business specialising in integrated security and surveillance systems, supporting complex, high-security environments across sectors including transport, critical national infrastructure, finance, public space, and custodial environments.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out day-to-day maintenance, fault finding and repair of complex analogue and digital CCTV systems.
- Maintain and repair multi-site Access Control Systems.
- Support and maintain perimeter detection systems.
- Provide maintenance and support for control room systems and associated equipment.
- Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities.
- Respond to reactive faults and daily service requests.
- Assist with out-of-hours and weekend works when required.
- Complete service documentation and ensure helpdesk records are accurately updated.
- Provide a professional, reliable and customer-focused service at all times.
- Support colleagues and contribute to a positive, collaborative engineering environment.
- Maintain a flexible approach to working hours, including occasional travel and overnight stays.

Experience required
- Experience working as a CCTV Engineer, Security Systems Engineer, Service Engineer, Access Control Engineer or similar.
- Experience with enterprise-level security platforms, such as Avigilon / ACC, Bosch BVMS, AXIS Camera Station, Pelco VideoXpert, Hikvision, Hanwha Vision, C•CURE, AMAG Symmetry, Honeywell Pro-Watch, SALTO, Paxton or similar
- Hands-on experience maintaining and fault-finding CCTV systems.
- Experience working with Access Control systems.
- Good knowledge of DVR and NVR systems.
- Good understanding of IT and IP-based systems and networks.
- Experience carrying out on-site repairs and reactive fault finding.
- Knowledge of planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a methodical approach.
- Good customer-facing and communication skills.
- Ability to complete technical documentation accurately.
- Self-motivated, organised and able to work independently.
- Flexible approach to working practices, including out-of-hours and weekend work when required.
- Ability to obtain the required level of security clearance/vetting.
