To strengthen our motivated Maintenance Team at our Bradford plant we are looking for a passionate Site Service Assistant.

Your Role

  • You maintain high standards of health, safety, hygiene, GMP, BRC, and 5S compliance.
  • You carry out general site maintenance, repairs, and facilities support.
  • You monitor and report safety, maintenance issues, accidents, near misses, and damage.
  • You maintain site services equipment, including strapping equipment and material-handling equipment.
  • You safely remove and manage waste and associated disposal activities.
  • You manage site consumables, clothing, and materials, including stock checks and inventory control.
  • You support cost control, minimize waste, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • You complete required documentation, audits, compliance checks, and records accurately.
  • You maintain clear communication with Engineering, H&S, Production, and other departments.
  • You respond promptly to site requests and concerns, including responsibility for the department phone while on shift.
  • You support site security, including opening and locking the site as required.
  • You carry out FLT and pallet truck duties where required, ensuring appropriate checks are completed.
  • You attend required training and site briefings.
  • You support improvement projects, supplier audits, and compliance reviews.
  • You support colleagues through training, development, and day-to-day activities.
  • You work flexibly and undertake other duties as required to support the effective running of the business.

  • You have strong health and safety awareness and attention to detail.
  • You have good communication and teamwork skills.
  • You can prioritize workloads and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • You have good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • You have an FLT licence and/or ride-on truck experience (desirable).
  • You have GMP and manufacturing experience (desirable).
