About the Unit

Yara Pocklington is part of the global company Yara International ASA and is a leader in the product development, manufacture and marketing of speciality nutrients & biostimulant products for use in regenerative agriculture worldwide. The business has grown significantly in recent years and has continued ambitious growth objectives for its Biological products. To meet this growth a new Global Production plant is currently being built in Howden, UK.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate office services and reception activities across the Pocklington and Howden sites, ensuring high service standards and operational efficiency.
  • Supervise and develop the Office Services Reception team, fostering a collaborative and customer-focused culture.
  • Manage office facilities, supplies, vendors and workplace services to support business operations cost-effectively.
  • Support employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, inductions, probation reviews and employee communications.
  • Coordinate training activities, maintain training records and ensure compliance with mandatory training requirements.
  • Monitor, analyse and report key service and compliance metrics, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Act as a key point of contact for employee support queries, collaborating with HR, managers and other stakeholders as needed.

We are looking for an experienced and service-oriented Office Services & Development Supervisor to oversee office services and reception operations while supporting employee development, training compliance and administration activities. This role plays a key part in creating an efficient workplace environment and ensuring employees have the support, systems and training needed to succeed.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to employee experience, workplace effectiveness and capability development while working closely with leaders and colleagues across the business. The role offers broad exposure across office services, administration and training coordination, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and continuous improvement.

Profile

  • Experience in office administration, business support, HR administration, training coordination or a related field.
  • Experience supervising or coordinating a small team.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and administrative capabilities, including reporting and data management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and business systems such as SAP.
  • A customer-focused mindset combined with professionalism, discretion and attention to detail.
  • Travelling: occasional travel between company locations required.
