Job title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Redditch, Worcestershire
Salary: £45,000/annum
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (Double Days)
Are you a mechanically biased maintenance engineer with a keen interest in repairing, improving and maintaining machinery; all without sacrificing your work-life balance?
Our client, a leading name in the food manufacturing industry, is expanding their team and are seeking a mechanical maintenance engineer to support their growing operation in Redditch on a Monday to Friday double days shift.
The Role
As one of the on site mechanical maintenance engineers, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of essential site services and equipment including but not limited to:

- Process cooking equipment and industrial food cooking ovens.
- Maintaining and repairing pumps, motors and conveyor systems through a wide range of machinery.
- General site services such as air compressors and water systems.
Training will also be provided for other essential services such as steam boilers and refrigeration systems.
You will be working as part of an ever expanding team of engineers driven to maintaining the highest standards of health and safety and machine availability.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate for this role will be:
- A mechanically biased engineer with experience in a manufacturing process environment.
- Confident working on process equipment and a wide range of site services.
- Proactive, safety conscious, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
