Are you a hands-on Site Services Engineer, Utilities Engineer or Facilities Engineer looking for a secure permanent role with an excellent shift pattern and strong benefits package?

We are recruiting for a Site Services Engineer to join the engineering team at an established mill in Navenby, south of Lincoln.

This is a varied engineering role focused on maintaining the essential utilities, infrastructure, and site services that keep the mill operating safely, efficiently, and reliably.

This is not a food production or kill factory environment.

The Shift Pattern

You will work:

  • 4 days on, 4 days off DAYS
  • 12-hour shifts
  • Average of approximately 42 hours per week
  • Regular four-day breaks built into your working pattern

The Role

As Site Services Engineer, you will help maintain the essential engineering systems and utilities that support the day-to-day operation of the mill.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planned preventative maintenance
  • Reactive maintenance and fault finding
  • Maintaining site utilities and infrastructure
  • Working with pumps, motors, and mechanical equipment
  • Compressed air systems
  • Water systems
  • Heating and ventilation
  • Pipework and mechanical services
  • Monitoring plant and utility performance
  • Identifying faults and carrying out practical repairs
  • Supporting engineering improvement projects
  • Working with contractors where required
  • Ensuring all engineering work is completed safely and effectively

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience as a:

  • Industrial Maintenance Engineer

You should have a practical mechanical engineering background and be comfortable fault finding and maintaining equipment in an industrial environment.

Experience with pumps, motors, compressed air, water systems, HVAC, pipework, or industrial utilities would be particularly relevant.

Engineers with transferable experience from the Armed Forces are also encouraged to apply.
