Responsibilities
As part of the site management team, this role will help set, maintain and challenge standards and expectations across site wide operations. This is a critical leadership role in driving improvement and helping the site develop a positive, open and learning culture. The role will involve leading, managing and coaching in alignment with Stepan values. The role will also involve working with other Site Shift Team Supervisors and stakeholders in delivering effective communications and teamwork across shift changes, shutdowns, and projects.
This Role Will Also Include
- The ability to manage any sudden, emergency situations associated with a top tier COMAH site.
- Main Controller in event of site emergency.
- Ensure shift team members are trained and validated and comply with EHS best practices.
- Drive quality improvement processes.
- Promote a team working ethic in shift team and across other shift teams.
- Demonstrate Stepan values behaviour consistently.

Requirements
- Qualifications in manufacturing management or equivalent.
- Good IT skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint Office.
- Previous experience of working on a top-tier COMAH site is advantageous.
- Good knowledge of MRP systems (e.g. SAP).
- Experience in leading, managing and coaching teams.
- Good Knowledge of site utilities such as boiler maintenance, air and water systems.
