Role Description
The Site Supervisor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Rochester, overseeing daily operations on construction sites to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to specification. The individual will coordinate and supervise site staff and subcontractors, allocate tasks, and monitor progress against project plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Enforcing health and safety standards

The Site Supervisor will liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams, manage deliveries and materials, and help resolve on-site problems. The role also involves supporting workforce compliance, promoting a positive site culture, and ensuring adherence to company policies and relevant legislation.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess:
- Strong site supervision and team leadership skills, with experience coordinating trades, subcontractors, and daily work schedules.
- Solid knowledge of construction processes, drawings, and specifications, with the ability to monitor quality and ensure work meets project standards.
- Excellent health and safety awareness, including experience conducting site inspections, risk assessments, and enforcing safe working practices.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with clients, workers, and management.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, including the ability to manage materials, resolve site issues, and maintain accurate documentation.

Experience working as a Site Supervisor or in a similar role within the construction sector is highly beneficial. Relevant construction or site management qualifications (such as SSSTS/SMSTS or equivalent) and a valid CSCS card are desirable. Working knowledge of UK employment and health & safety legislation, along with a commitment to compliance and safe site operations, is advantageous.
