About the role

As the Site Supervisor your manager will be our Site Manager. You will work 37 hours a week on a permanent basis, working flexibly in the Vico Homes operating area.

As the Site Supervisor you will be responsible for a multi-trade workforce and appointed third party Sub-contractors per project.

It is an exciting time to be joining us and here are some of the initiatives that you will be involved in:

  • Lift replacement project in a high-rise buildings
  • Garage upgrade and demolition projects
  • HHSRS Improvement projects
  • Component replacement projects

What you’ll do

  • Organise and control an efficient and cost-effective work force for allocated areas of responsibility using direct labour and sub-contractors
  • Assume specific responsibility for the day-to-day planning, organising and management of all elements of Planned projects whilst on site, in full compliance with all applicable legislation along with Vico Homes Policies and Procedure
  • Ensure that all works are carried out in accordance with legislation, standing orders, financial regulations, procurement regulations, Vico Homes customer care, policies and procedure, good / best practice and specified time constraints when applicable

What we’re looking for

  • Qualified construction professional with a relevant Level 3 qualification and a full UK driving licence.
  • Experienced leader with a strong background in supervising teams and delivering construction projects and contracts on time and to a high standard.
  • Customer-focused communicator who can build positive relationships, solve problems and work effectively with colleagues, customers and contractors.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a commitment to health and safety, continuous improvement and developing others.
