Aureos are seeking a site supervisor. The site supervisor is a crucial part of Aureos’ Substation Division and our Onshore Wind, Solar & Battery Team. Representing the Project Manager, the CSS ensures all site construction activities are managed safely and efficiently. You will drive the SHEW culture, focusing on safety, health, environment, and wellbeing, while managing relationships with contractors and leading site operations.
You will play a fundamental role in providing a safe working environment and ensuring projects run on time, within budget, and to the desired quality standards.

The Successful Candidate Will Be Responsible For The Following
- Lead by example on all Site matters related to Safety, Health, Environment, and Wellbeing (SHEW) to engage positively with the team.
- Ensure Contractors align with SSE Safety Management System, promoting proactive safety management among Principal Contractors.
- Contribute to, review, and monitor the deliverability of Site Delivery Programmes, minimizing program risks.
- Be familiar with construction standards and ensure materials and workmanship comply with required quality standards.
- Maintain a comprehensive documentation system for site drawings and ensure its accuracy and accessibility throughout the project.

Skills, Qualifications And Experience
- Basic project management skills focusing on risk management for delivering projects on scope, time, cost, and quality.
- Experience in fixed price and target cost contract management, strongly supported by commercial contract framework expertise like NEC3/4.
- Proven track record in site management, meeting deadlines, and thriving in contract environments.
- Solid expertise in Safety, Health, and Environmental construction requirements and legislation including CDM along with current SMSTS & BESC accreditation.
- Proactive and communicative, you're comfortable leading discussions and negotiations with stakeholders across functional business structures.
