CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent

SALARY: £39,826 per annum

BENEFITS: Westfield Health, Auto enrolment pension, Life Insurance

Hargreaves Industrial Services is a leading provider of contract operation and maintenance services. We are contracted to provide support services on behalf of Enfinium at their energy from waste facility at Skelton Grange.

We have a vacancy for a Site Supervisor to fulfil a working multi-functional role within the team on site.

As a Site Supervisor you will enjoy working in a team environment, demonstrate leadership and a willingness to learn, and will always be reliable and presentable.

The role briefly encompasses the following duties:

  • Manage, lead, motivate and allocate work to a team of employees
  • Ensure procedures are followed correctly to maximise coverage of your area and that work is finished on time and all relevant paperwork is provided and signed off after every shift
  • Provide assistance in the field when and where needed
  • Ensure all operational measuring tools are up to date and forwarded to the relevant parties on time (KPI data etc)
  • Utilise manpower to get the most effective performance through the shifts and ensure all Health & safety procedures are followed and adhered to
  • Brief and inform your team members when and where applicable
  • Look at ways to continuously improve service
  • Effectively manage holiday and rota cover
  • Ensure all the team have the appropriate qualifications and inductions
  • Effectively manage the fleet of vehicles that apply to the role, ensuring safety checks, checking of pre-starts and garage bookings
  • Attend all required client daily/weekly/month meetings
  • Prepare monthly reports with support of team on the contracts performance
  • Manage costs on site for all elements.
  • Ensure all H&S measures are in place and completed
