Site Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Supervisor to support a fast-paced utilities contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing multiple field teams, ensuring all site activities are delivered safely, compliantly, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of up to 5 field teams across active sites.
  • Drive Health & Safety as the top priority, maintaining a zero-compromise approach at all times.
  • Conduct daily streetworks checks, ensuring all signing, lighting and guarding requirements are met.
  • Complete and sign off streetworks permits in line with regulatory standards.
  • Enforce safety, quality and operational compliance; stop work immediately where unsafe practices are identified.
  • Monitor productivity and ensure teams work efficiently within tight project timelines.
  • Provide clear direction and maintain strong discipline within the teams.
  • Liaise with management and stakeholders to support smooth project delivery.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong site supervision experience, ideally within utilities, construction or civil engineering.
  • Proven ability to lead, manage and hold teams accountable.
  • Confident in enforcing safety standards and stopping work when required.
  • Experience with signing, lighting and guarding (SLG) is essential.
  • Experience within the water industry is beneficial but not essential.
  • Good understanding of streetworks requirements and permit processes.
