Scale 3 4 (£21,775 £23,952 p.a. depending on experience)

32.5 Hours, Split shift 7:00am 10:00am and 2:30pm 6:00pm (there may be some flexibility around these hours)

Your Role

We are looking for a dedicated Site Supervisor to join our friendly and hardworking team. In this role, you will play a vital part in keeping our school running smoothly, safely, and looking its best for our students, staff, and visitors.

The successful applicant will be responsible to the Business Manager and be required to work a split shift (7-10am and 2.30 6pm)

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Site Security: Opening and locking up the school buildings and grounds.
  • Maintenance: Carrying out minor repairs, DIY tasks, and routine safety checks.
  • Cleaning: Undertaking daily cleaning duties and coordinating the cleaning team to maintain high hygiene standards across the school.
  • Grounds Care: Keeping outdoor areas, walkways, and playgrounds tidy and safe (including gritting in winter).
  • General Support: Moving furniture, receiving deliveries, and setting up halls for assemblies or events.

About You

What We Are Looking For:

  • A hands-on, practical person with basic DIY or maintenance skills.
  • Previous experience in cleaning or caretaking (experience in a school setting is a bonus, but not essential).
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent reliability and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment for children.
  • The successful candidate must be understanding, considerate and flexible and be able to play a full part in the life of the school.
