Tibshelf Community School is a thriving, oversubscribed 11-16 school with 833 students, located near Chesterfield on the edge of the Peak District, with excellent transport links via the M1.
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Site Supervisor to join our team and play a key role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming school environment, to start as soon as possible.
52 weeks per year and a choice of either 15 or 20 hours per week on a shift pattern during term time.
7.00am - 10.00am (15 hours) or 7.00am - 11.00am (20 hours)
4.00pm - 7.00pm (15 hours) or 3.00pm - 7.00pm (20 hours)

About The Role
As Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep, safety, and presentation of the school premises, ensuring that both buildings and grounds are maintained to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain clean, safe, and secure school premises, including buildings and outdoor areas
- Carry out cleaning duties, handyperson tasks, routine maintenance, refurbishment, porterage, and minor repairs
- Supervise cleaning staff, including allocating duties and monitoring quality of work
- Promote and uphold health and safety standards across the school
