Site Supervisor / Work Package Coordinator - Contract - Coleford

We are supporting our client, a leading FMCG manufacturing business, in finding an immediately available Site Supervisor / Work Package Coordinator to oversee multiple mechanical, electrical and civil work packages on a busy Coleford site. This is a hands-on contract role where you will be central to safe, compliant and efficient project delivery across a fast-paced manufacturing environment, working closely with our client's team and their contractors.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Contractor management: Leading and coordinating external contractors day-to-day, ensuring standards, behaviour and delivery meet our client's expectations.
  • Work package coordination: Organising and sequencing civil, electrical and mechanical workstreams to align with project plans and minimise disruption.
  • Project delivery: Supporting Project Managers to drive work packages to completion, on time and in line with scope.
  • Health, safety & site compliance: Enforcing HSE rules, ensuring the site remains audit-ready and fully compliant.
  • Permit control & inductions: Managing permit-to-work processes and contractor inductions so all work is authorised and understood.
  • RAMS & Safe Systems of Work: Reviewing and challenging Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Safe Systems of Work before activities commence.
  • FMCG / manufacturing experience: Proven background in manufacturing, ideally food and beverage, with understanding of high-speed, high-compliance environments.
  • Desirable - IOSH / NEBOSH / SMSTS & engineering background: Health and safety qualifications and experience in mechanical, electrical or civil engineering will be advantageous.

Rate

  • £325 per day Outside IR35
