Where will you be working?

At M Group we’re enabling the energy essential to support our lives.

We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation.

This role will be within our Energy Division. We design, build and commission substations at voltages up to and including 400kV. Our teams construct and maintain transmission lines and substations, ensuring the efficient and reliable delivery of electricity.

What will you be doing?

We're recruiting for a Site Support Administrator for our GGP project in Rotherham.

We're looking for someone to help the teams work efficiently and stay on track. You’ll provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support that keeps office activity running smoothly. You’ll organise tasks, manage schedules and support teams with routine activities. You’ll make sure information is accurate, activities are well coordinated and deadlines are met. Through reliable and well-structured support, you’ll help teams stay organised and focused on their priorities.

There will be a requirement to be on site (in Rotherham) 4 days a week with the view that this may increase to 5 as required.

  • Provide consistent, accurate support to keep day-to-day activity running.
  • Ensuring site office is maintained to required standard, greeting visitors and ensuring compliance with site induction.
  • Coordinate training and workforce competence activities across the business.
  • Ensure operational activities are effectively planned and coordinated.
  • Support compliance and administration activities that contribute to safe and effective operations.
  • Contribute to the effective management of business information and performance.
  • Organise activities and schedules, so work runs smoothly.
  • Support teams so they can focus on delivering their work.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to keep information accurate and up to date.

What you'll bring:

  • Previous experience in an administrative, coordination or support role.
  • UK Driving licence to be able to get to and from site.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft 365.
