Sitecore AI Technical Lead & Pre-Sales – £600-£700/day - BASED ANYWHERE IN UK OR EUROPE
We are seeking an experienced Sitecore AI Technical Lead to join a leading digital consultancy delivering enterprise-scale digital experience platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex Sitecore implementations, driving technical excellence across AI-enabled solutions and headless architectures.
As the Technical Lead & Pre-Sales Consultant, you will take ownership of the end-to-end technical delivery of Sitecore solutions, working closely with clients, architects and delivery teams to design scalable, high-performing digital platforms. You will provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from solution design and estimation through to delivery and deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical architecture and delivery of enterprise Sitecore solutions, including Sitecore AI, XM Cloud, XP and XM.
- Design scalable, secure and maintainable digital experience platforms using modern headless and composable architectures.
- Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions and provide technical guidance throughout project delivery.
- Define technical standards, coding best practices and architectural patterns across development teams.
- Lead code reviews and mentor developers, promoting high-quality engineering standards.
- Work with Project Managers, Solution Architects and clients to provide technical estimates, identify delivery risks and support pre-sales activities.
- Oversee integrations with third-party platforms including CRM, CDP, DAM, search and marketing automation solutions.
- Produce technical documentation throughout discovery, planning and delivery phases.
- Drive AI adoption within the development lifecycle and contribute to the evolution of Sitecore AI capabilities.

Required Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience delivering enterprise Sitecore solutions, with strong expertise in Sitecore AI, XM Cloud, XP and XM.
- Proven experience leading technical teams and delivering large-scale digital transformation projects.
- Strong knowledge of Sitecore Headless, JSS, SXA, Unicorn/SCS and multisite implementations.
- Experience with Next.js, React and modern front-end development within Sitecore environments.
- Knowledge of Sitecore composable products including CDP, Personalize, Search, Content Hub and Send.
- Experience deploying and supporting solutions within Azure and/or AWS.
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and the ability to engage confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
