Role Description
The Site Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Glasgow, responsible for overseeing construction and fit-out projects from inception to completion. Day-to-day tasks include managing site activities, coordinating subcontractors and suppliers, monitoring project progress, and ensuring work is delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

The role involves:

- Maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations
- Conducting regular site inspections
- Resolving operational issues to keep projects on track
- Liaising with clients, project managers, and design teams to communicate updates, manage expectations, and ensure quality standards are met
- Accurate record-keeping, reporting, and adherence to company procedures and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Experience in site management for construction, refurbishment, or fit-out projects, ideally within industrial, commercial, or retail environments
- Strong project coordination skills, including scheduling, resource allocation, and managing subcontractors and suppliers
- Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations, risk assessment, and safe working practices on construction sites
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients, colleagues, and external partners
- Proven ability to solve problems on site, make informed decisions, and maintain quality and timelines under pressure
- Relevant industry qualifications or certifications (e.g., SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS, or equivalent) are highly beneficial
- Previous experience in a similar role and a valid driving license are advantageous
