Sixth Form Administrator - The Redhill Academy

Band 6 scale points 29 - 32
Actual salary
£22,627 - 23,992 per annum (Full Time Equivalent: £25,467 - £27,004)
37 hours per week
(Monday - Thursday 08:00 -16:00, Friday 08:00 - 15:30) - Full time, Permanent, Term time plus 2 weeks (41 weeks per year)

Are you an organised and proactive administrator who is passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential? We are seeking an enthusiastic Sixth Form Administrator to join our dedicated Post 16 team and play a key role in supporting students throughout their sixth form journey.
About You…
You will be a highly organised and personable individual with excellent administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills. Able to manage a varied workload and work effectively both independently and as part of a team, you will be confident building positive relationships with students, parents, staff, employers, and external agencies. You will have strong attention to detail, a commitment to safeguarding and confidentiality, and a proactive approach to supporting young people in a busy educational environment.

Your role…
As Sixth Form Administrator, you will provide pastoral and administrative support to the Sixth Form Leadership Team, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the Sixth Form. Responsibilities include supporting student attendance and independent study, managing communications, coordinating events and transition activities, supporting UCAS applications and university-related programmes, maintaining student records, and assisting with work experience placements. This is a varied and rewarding role that offers the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to students' academic and personal development.
