The Opportunity
If you are looking to kick-start a rewarding career where you can make a real difference, come and join our Quality team. You will work on one of the most exciting and significant sustainable energy projects the UK has ever seen, helping to ensure the highest standards of quality are maintained across a nationally important infrastructure programme.
Sizewell C is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk. When completed, it will provide reliable low-carbon electricity to 6 million homes for at least 60 years, playing a key role in the UK's energy future.
We have two placements to join our Quality Industrial Placement Programme based at our Suffolk offices.
Taking on a real role at a junior level, you'll have the opportunity to learn through hands-on experience under the guidance of highly skilled and experienced colleagues. You'll gain valuable insight into how quality assurance and quality control processes are applied across a major infrastructure project, supporting the delivery of safe, compliant, and high-quality outcomes.
What We're Looking For:
- Studying towards a degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Construction Management, Science, Business, or a related discipline.
- A genuine interest in quality, continuous improvement, and delivering excellence.
- An interest in working within major nuclear and infrastructure programmes.
- A passion for sustainability and contributing to a project that will make a lasting difference.
- Open-minded, flexible and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced project environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail.
- Effective interpersonal skills, demonstrating integrity, professionalism, humility and strong ethical behaviour.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with a variety of stakeholders and manage competing priorities.

What You'll Gain
Over the course of this 12-month programme, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in hands-on learning, working on real-world challenges that directly impact one of the UK's largest infrastructure projects. Most of your learning will take place on the job, supported by your mentor and the wider Quality team.
You'll gain experience in areas such as:

- Root cause analysis and issue resolution.
- Supporting quality culture and performance across the project.

Security Vetting
To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Vetting.
Pay, Benefits and Culture
